NESC is an accredited American Sailing Association training facility.

• Competent Crew Endorsement: Course for students and family members wanting to experience sailing without a detailed training regimen or certification.

• Basic Keelboat Certification: Two day Basic Keelboat course teaching you the fundamental principles of sailing.

• International Bareboat Cruising Certification: Five day International Bareboat Cruising Certification (IBCC) course teaching you both theory and skill requirements on a cruising yacht.

• Accelerated Bareboat Certification: Seven day Accelerated Bareboat Certification (ABC) course to complete a fast track program advancing from beginner to bareboat certification.

• Coastal Navigation Certification: Eight hour Coastal Navigation theory course teaching you how to safely navigate a sailing yacht in coastal or inland waters.

• Coastal Passage Making Certification: Five day Coastal Passage Making for advanced sailors looking for experience of at least 50 nautical miles upon coastal waters.

• Offshore Passage Making Certification: Offshore Passage Making graduates are able to skipper and crew an inboard auxiliary powered cruising sailboat to any destination worldwide.

• VHF Certification: One day, covering general rules for the use and operation of VHF radios, SARTs, and EPIRBs.
